The project transforms a former industrial and institutional site into an open and vibrant neighborhood. Three elements structure the intervention: the conversion of the Palais building into housing, the rehabilitation of the Usines buildings into Maison Kessels for socio-economic activities, and the creation of a large shared garden at the heart of the block. This approach combines urban densification, heritage enhancement, and de-paving to provide a mixed, sustainable, and inclusive living environment.
